As Managing Director of Chilaw D/C Mill, I am proud to share the remarkable journey of our company, one of Sri Lanka’s foremost producers and suppliers of coconut milk and related products. Nestled in the heart of the island’s lush coconut triangle, our enterprise is built on a foundation of traditional values, enriched by modern innovation. We are committed to delivering the natural goodness of Sri Lankan coconuts to communities both locally and across the World.

Our story began in 1982, when we started collecting and supplying coconut and copra to factories in the Chilaw region. In 2009, we expanded our operations by acquiring the Madampe D/C Mill on a lease basis. A pivotal moment came on April 10, 2014, when we acquired the Chilaw D/C Mill—marking a significant milestone in our growth.

Between 2014 and 2016, both mills successfully supplied desiccated coconut (DC) to the Renuka Group and other local manufacturers. In 2016, we concluded our lease with the Madampe facility to focus our efforts entirely on the Chilaw D/C Mill, streamlining operations and enhancing efficiency.

On April 15, 2020, we ventured into coconut milk production for local industries—a strategic move that led to a partnership with Nestlé Lanka Pvt Ltd. Since then, we have proudly maintained a consistent supply of approximately 20,000 liters annually to Nestlé, reinforcing our reputation for quality and reliability.
